Attenuators are used to extend the measuring ranges of our high-frequency measuring devices HFA-3, HFR-4 and Frequency Master IV. They are suitable for measuring higher levels.The measuring range of our high-frequency measuring devices HFA-3, HFR-4 and Frequency Master IV can be adjusted upwards using external attenuators. Available attenuators are 10 dB and 20 dB. The 10 dB attenuator extends the measurement range upwards by a factor of 10 (10x higher radiation level) and the 20 dB attenuator extends the measurement range upwards by a factor of 100 (100x higher radiation level). The attenuators are simply screwed between the antenna and the measuring device.In addition to our high-frequency filter MFF-1, there are also special filters that cover frequency ranges that the MFF-1 does not. The VM-540 Sonde Locator comes standard with sonde/camera frequencies of 512Hz, 640Hz and 33kHz, making it compatible with the major push cameras and crawler cameras on the market. The VM-560FF Transmitter has one induction frequency; three direct connect and a fault-find frequency. The LED indicators on the transmitter show the frequency selected, output level, and battery status. An audio indicator beeps to advise the quality of the connection. This one-watt transmitter can transmit the locate signal onto the target line three ways. By direct connection, if direct access to the line is available, by induction by simply putting the transmitter in induction mode and placing it over the target line with the induction arrow in line with it or by clamp mode and using the induction clamp to clamp around the target line.

The Loc-150Tx, 150-Watt DM Transmitter is used primarily with the Defect Mapper (DM) Receiver, however it is also useful for those needing a low frequency, high output transmitter. Typically, the Loc-150Tx, transmitter (DM transmitter) is used to apply a signal current to the anode bed. The pipeline returns the signal via coating faults back to the transmitter. The Loc-150Tx transmitter is designed to be powered from CP (Cathodic Protection) stations, AC or external batteries, eliminating the need for internal batteries. This transmitter has a direct connection mode to apply the locate frequency onto the conductor. There is no clamp or induction mode.
