This PXI fault insertion switch uses solid state switching elements and is capable of switching current up to 10A. It is designed to be able to insert three different fault conditions between the test fixture and the equipment under test: Open-Circuit. Short-Circuit between UUT connections. Short-Circuit to external signals. Through relays on each channel enable signals to the UUT to be set open-circuit. Fault Insertion Buses allow any channel to be shorted to any other channel and also enable any channel to be connected to an external signal such as Power, Ignition or Ground to simulate fault conditions. The module is supplied with 2 fault buses.

K325T FPGA, 1.7 GB/s, 2 GB DRAM PXI FPGA Module for FlexRIO—The PXIe‑7972 provides flexible, customizable I/O for LabVIEW FPGA. It includes 132 single-ended I/O lines configurable as 66 differential pairs. You can pair the PXIe‑7972 with FlexRIO adapter modules that offer high-performance analog and digital I/O. Together, the two modules create a reconfigurable instrument that you can program with LabVIEW FPGA software. The PXIe‑7972 supports peer-to-peer streaming, which directly transfers data among multiple FPGA modules or select PXI Express modules without sending data to the host processor. With this feature, you can add FPGA capabilities to high-performance NI digitizers with NIST‑traceable calibration or expand your FPGA algorithms across multiple FPGAs for computationally demanding applications.

PXIe, 6.6 GHz, PXI RF Analog Signal Generator—The PXIe‑5652 features continuous-wave generation capabilities with FM, 2‑FSK, or OOK modulation. It uses direct digital synthesis (DDS) for high-resolution frequency hopping or phase-continuous sweeping for fixture and device characterization applications. The PXIe‑5652 is ideal for clocking nonstandard sample rates, such as WCDMA signals at baseband or intermediate frequency (IF). With these versatile signal generators, you can perform analog and digital modulation through the onboard DDS circuit, which gives you frequency modulation and frequency-shift keying for applications such as bit error rate test, antenna testing, or even keyless entry. You can also perform amplitude modulation using on-off keying.

35-Channel, 0.25 A PXI Signal Insertion Switch Module—The PXI‑2515 is a multiplexer switch module that enables connectivity by routing high-speed digital I/O (DIO) signals between a device under test (DUT) and an NI high-speed DIO device or a parametric measurement device. You can use modules such as PXI Source Measure Units (SMUs) and PXI Digital Multimeters (DMMs) with high-speed digital devices. With the PXI‑2515, you can perform parametric tests on digital pins without external connectivity or impedance mismatch challenges.
