    The Colorette 4 serves for precisely measuring the colour of ground roasted coffee. By means of the stripping device, the sample to be measured is prepared and afterwards positioned at the measuring point. The Colorette works according to the principle of reflection measurement. A ground coffee sample to be measured is illuminated with a white clock-pulsed LED. For colour value determination, the reflected light is thereby captured by a sensor. The determined colour value is afterwards indicated on the touch screen. The indication in different scales makes it possible to use the device flexibly and to adapt it individually to the requirements. Thanks to the improved components, the Colorette 4 is low-wear and guarantees most exact measuring results during the entire lifetime.
