  • Signal Splitters

    Datexel

The DAT4530 can convert any process signal (Thermocouples, RTD, mV, Voltage, mA Resistance and Potentiometer) to a voltage or current output (4-20mA, 0-20mA or 0-10V). Each output can be different and it also has a built in limit alarm which is an SPST relay. The DAT4530 is PC programmable with the aid of the Prodat programmer and the Datasoft software which is available from the Datexel down load page. The DAT4530 is also programmable with the aid of 3 DIP switches which can be found on the side of the DAT4530. There is full isolation between the input, power supply, limit alarm output and two outputs.

  • Stress Analysis Strain Gauge

    Micro Measurements

Structures can, and do, break, and this may be important and sometimes dramatic. It’s critical to determine whether a particular object made from a particular material can carry a particular load. If a true stress is ignored, the cost of not acting is usually far higher than the cost of dealing with the problem earlier. A well-done strain measurement will produce an accurate representation of the strain actually present under the sensor. Strain data, however, is seldom gathered as a means unto itself. It is usually little more than a convenient vehicle for indirectly obtaining information about some other engineering parameter.

  • Wideband Power Analyzer

    2335A - Clarke-Hess Communications Research

The Model 2335A Wideband Power Analyzer is a precision, high accuracy, high frequency auto-ranging instrument which measures and displays true rms Voltage, true rms Current, and true mean Power over a frequency range from dc to more than 1MHz. Full scale Current and Voltage inputs are typically measured within 0.1% of the amplitude reading to at least 500kHz. The corresponding Power is typically measured to within 0.1% of the input Volt-Amperes to 250kHz and to within 0.2% of the input Volt-Amperes to 500kHz for loads having any Power Factor.

  • Durometers

    PCE Instruments

A durometer gauge or durometer tester is needed to perform a durometer hardness test procedure. Durometer devices determine the surface hardness of many different materials, including polymers and elastomers. Each durometer or hardness tester measures the depth of an indentation in the material caused by a defined force of a given geometric presser foot. The depth of the indentation reflects the hardness of the material. A general distinction is made between static and dynamic methods. In traditional static tests, the test force is applied uniformly with increasing magnitude, while in dynamic testing methods, an instantaneous load is applied.

  • Micro Vickers Hardness Tester

    Sinowon Innovation Metrology Manufacture Ltd.

◆ MicVision main use in testing materials allows for the measurement of the hardness of small or thin specimens and small areas of larger specimens, MicVision testing is commonly used to determine characteristics of thin sheets, foils, fine wire, epoxies, paints, etc. and is often employed in R&D applications .◆ MicrVision hardness is especially useful in determining hardness variations, caused by hardening, quenching, plating, fabrication, welding or annealing, bonding, etc. Micro hardness testing can be accurately employed using loads as slight as 10 gram, somewhat less and considerably more in certain situation.

  • Motion Based Waves

    Aanderaa Data Instruments AS

Accurate Motion Based wave measurements are critical in applications such as offshore wind farm development, navigation, cable laying, breakwater building, and bridge construction.Waves also result in continuous loads on marine structures, including docks, moorings, and offshore platforms.Motion Based Waves are challenging to measure. Variables to consider when collecting wave data include the depth of the measuring device, proximity to shore, wave types, and available infrastructure from which to measure.Several methods for measuring motion based waves are available, and careful selection of the best approach is needed to get the optimal result.

  • Dynamic Weighing System for Excavators

Loadtronic 3E - Aanderaa Data Instruments AS

The load in the bucket is weighed during normal lifting cycle. The weighing can be started automatically or manually. The display will show the weight currently in the bucket, and the running total. Also, the number of buckets delivered is shown. The weighing system can be used as a tool toavoid over- and underloading of trucks. All loadings are stored in the main unit and can be retrieved either for printing a receipt or for transfer to PC (USB stick/ SMS). Databases of customers, materials etc. can be transferred between the office PC and the Loadtronic 3E system (using USB stick). The files can be viewed and edited in MS Office Excel or Notepad.

  • Power Rail Probe, 6 GHz

    N7024A - Keysight Technologies

The N7024A power rail probe is for users making power integrity measurements that need mV sensitivity when measuring noise, ripple and transients on their DC power rails. The probe is designed for measuring periodic and random disturbances (PARD), static and dynamic load response, programmable power rail response, and similar power integrity measurements. Many of today’s products have tighter tolerances on their DC power rails than the previous generations of these products, and the N7024A power rail probe is designed to help users ensure their products meet these tighter tolerances.
