  • ITS/STP

    ITS is a flush-mount test block for interfacing substation devices (protection relays, fault recorders, revenue meters, ... ) to the voltage and current transformers and to other equipment on the system side of a power grid. STP is a test plug keyed to a particular configuration of ITS test blocks. Once inserted into the corresponding test block, the STP plug isolates the substation devices from the system side equipment while at the same time allowing connection of test equipment for secondary injection tests.

    The LTB is a test block with a deep rear end and allows easy and safe disconnection of IED's (protective relays, fault recorders, revenue meters, ...) from the system side of the power grid. The LTB typically works together with the LTP test plug which features an integrated leverage mechanism to aid with the insertion into the LTB. The sophisticated mechanical functioning of the LTP contributes to a blindingly easy plug-in process of the test plug. A large number of poles hence can be quickly disconnected with a few simple movements.
