Materials Analysis Technology Inc.
Optical microscopy is used to display the surface morphology of samples by 2D intensity contrast due to deflection and reflection of visible light shined on areas of interest. Its resolution is about half of the incident wavelength, which is ~0.2 μm for visible light (wavelength of 400-700 nm). Such resolution limits the maximum magnification to X1000, and thus optical microscopy provides preliminary inspection of sample surface structure.

DiCon Fiberoptics, Inc.
DiCon's MEMS tunable optical filter offers many advantages over a traditional tunable optical filter; increased accuracy & resolution, a faster tuning speed, as well as a durability that will last for over a billion tuning cycles, all in a compact package. Options are available for either 100 GHz or 50 GHz channel spacing as well as operation in either the O-band, C-band or L-band wavelength ranges.

Zygo Corporation
ZYGO's 3D Optical Profiler instruments enable precise, quantitative, ISO-compliant, non-contact surface measurement and characterization of micro- and nano-scale surface features, capturing up to two million data points in just seconds. Applications range from topography and waviness to roughness and microstructure characterization on samples as that vary from ultra-smooth sub-angstrom optical surfaces, to extremely rough and diffuse 3D printed surfaces.

Renishaw Inc.
An optical encoder is an electromechanical device which produces an electrical signal output proportional to the linear displacement of a linear guide or the angular position of an input shaft.Open encoders are exposed and feature no external integrated enclosure. The advantages of open optical encoders include the effective elimination of backlash, shaft wind-up (torsion) and other mechanical hysteresis errors.A rotary open optical encoder consists of a position measurement readhead and an accurate rotary scale marked either on the periphery of a ring or on the face of a disc. The readhead measures position by optically sensing the regularly-spaced scale markings and outputs this information as an analogue or digital signal. The signal is subsequently converted into a position reading by a digital readout (DRO) or motion controller.

Barben Analytical
The analyzer is suitable for direct field installation (NEMA 4X) in hazardous area (Class I, Division 2). The optical fiber sensor platform allows small inline sensors to be installed into sample tubing lines (1/4”), flow cells using NPT fittings, or directly into tanks or process lines using our retractable “hot tap” sensor design. BOS optical oxygen sensors are impervious to typical O2 poisons (H2S) and interferences (combustibles, magnetic, CO2 and H2) with high accuracy and long-term stability measurements without the need for complex or advanced sample conditioning systems. The threaded version of the optical sensor has optional Dual Seal (ANSI/ISA 12.27.01) classification for high pressure applications up to 1200 PSIG (82.7 BAR).
