The CBG830 is designed to provide an accurate and affordable signal source for easy testing of displays, cables and systems.The CBG830 will generate a full field color bar signal with eight vertical bars, white through black. This signal is available in a variety of resolutions and refresh rates. TheCBG830 will usually fit in a toolbox with ease and even fit into a pocket. There is also a rack mount kit available as well. Power is provided by a regulated 5VDC source and a small wall plug power module is included with the packaged CBG830 but not with board level products. The CBG830 will have a switch array to select the video standard.

This can be dependent on emitter orientation, alignment with fiber tip, and connector assembly. These mode-conditioned sources have been engineered to distribute light evenly into all transverse modes, resulting in an equilibrium modal distribution at the output. The front panel includes an adjustment knob to control the power and an output port that accepts 2.2 mm wide-key FC/PC connectors. A DS15 15 V power supply with a location-specific plug is included with each device.

The ViewSizer 3000 features simultaneous measurement with three lasers to collect the most accurate distribution and concentration information over a wide range of sizes within the same sample. Where the signal from a particle is too bright and saturates the detector from one laser, the software automatically uses data from a lower power laser to ensure the most accurate size and concentration information. On the other hand, when scattering from one laser is too weak for detection, the software uses data from a higher power laser to accurately track the particle.
