Advanced Telemetrics International
ATi Telemetry Systems are typically used to transmit data from rotating shafts or machinery to a stationary telemetry receiver. The 2040BC Miniature Strain Gage Transmitter can be connected to strain gauges adhered to propellers or rotors in order to transmit blade strain or shaft torque in flight.

Rotor Starter -
Hilkar
The Slip-Ring Motor Starters are based on the series of resistors that are applied to the rotor circuit to control the speed/torque characteristics of the motor. Rotor starters are mainly used for the motor starting applications requiring high-starting torque like loaded belt conveyors in mining industry. By external resistors, it is possible to shift the motor maximum (break-down) torque up to starting torque point for motors under heavy loads during start-up. The resistors are splitted into some steps and controlled via contactors by motor starting control system. As the motor speed increases, the external rotor resistors are eliminated by shorting contactors until all external resistors are shorted out.

2507 -
Georg Fischer Signet
The Signet 2507 Mini Flow Sensor contains a free-running rotor that is driven by the fluid flow. Within the given measurement range, the rotational speed of the rotor is proportional to the fluid flow rate.

AW Dynamometer, Inc.
Dynamometer consists of aggressively designed rotor technology that allows for higher torque without the need for multiple rotors. Thus not only does the WB Series unit offer more pack to the punch, but the inertia of the WB Series unit stays well below the inertia of the engine being load-tested.

Flow indicator with rotor features a self-cleaning mechanism to ensure full visibility of the rotor at all times. Typical sight flow indicators suffer from poor indicator visibility through normal use from build-up that impedes observation of the rotor through the viewing window. Typically, for a sight flow indicator to be cleaned, it must be removed from the pipeline, cleaned and then replaced at some specified time, such as during plant shutdown. Unfortunately, dirt build-up does not typically schedule itself to correspond with planned shutdowns. Enter the KOBOLD DAA Series flow indicator. Simply twist the sight glass and the integral wipers clean the flow indicator's viewing area to allow unobstructed observation of the rotor. The offending contaminants are then simply washed away by the media flow. This process may be repeated as often as desired with no fuss and no downtime. The DAA is available with brass or stainless steel fittings with " to 1" NPT female threads. The DAA is also available without a rotor for observation of fluid condition.

Qualitrol
The Iris Power MDSP3 uses the Current Signature Analysis technology which relies on the concept that faults in the induction motor rotor or driven components result in changes to the rotor magnetic field pattern. Unique magnetic rotating fields are produced due to the faults which induce detectable stator current components indicative of the fault.

Advance Instrument Inc.
The absorbed energy of the DCE series Dyno is converted into heat in two rotors located at the external side of the coils . The rotors are designed with curvilinear cooling fins for fast dissipating heat into the atmosphere . This design provides with the smallest physical size for air cooled Eddy-Current Dyno . Simple construction and desirable speed-torque characteristics are adaptable to most of the applications.

Water Brake Series -
AW Dynamometer, Inc.
The Water Brake (WB) Series Dynamometers are designed with aggressive rotor fin technology that allows for higher torque without the need for multiple rotors. The 0-4000 RPM range and high torque capacity make this dynamometer series an excellent choice for testing a wide range of motors from low RPM DC motors to 2 pole AC motors.

Iris Power RIV800 -
Qualitrol
The Iris Power RIV800 Robotic Inspection Vehicle and Camera System, allows a visual inspection of the generator stator and rotor, including checking the air vents for debris, with or without removing the rotor. The robotic inspection vehicle also provides an automated means of EL CID electromagnetic core imperfection detection testing and SWA stator wedge analyzer testing.

Crowbar resistors are three phase resistance banks which are connected to the rotor windings of the DFIG (Doubly-Feed Induction Generator) such as wind power generator. They are used to prevent damage to the inverter circuits attached to rotor side when a fault occurs in the grid. DFIG power converter, which has a restricted over-current limit, needs special attention during faults in the grid. If the rotor current or DC link voltage reaches the threshold value, crowbar resistors disconnect the converter in order to prevent the generator turning into a squirrel cage induction machine. By crowbar resistors, the DFIG could stay connected to the grid and continue its operation.
