  • Thermopile Sensor

    Thermopile - JonDeTech

The thermopile leads can be arranged in different manners; for most commercial sensors of today, typically, horizontal or “in-the-plane” architecture is used. The reason for this is strictly process related. Microelectronic processes have historically been developed to make lateral structures on silicon wafers. However, this is not always the best sensor solution since the hot and the cold junctions are placed next to each other on the same surface. To use this as a infrared sensor an aperture must be integrated with the thermopile so that the heat radiation strikes only a limited area, i.e. the hot junction of the sensor. In other words, the full surface of horizontally configured thermopilescan’t be used, neither can true “contact mode” be utilized.

  • Specialized Gateways

This includes FBG strain interrogators, optical pulse phase analysers, OSNR meters, optical power meters, optical spectrum analysers, optical gas sensors… you get the idea. All test equipment we build is robust and easy to use. The picture shows some of what we can do – anything from prototype benchtop test gear (as in the combination ASE source and laser combiner on top of the stack) to field test equipment (the portable fast OSA on the bottom).

  • The Impulse Guided Wave Radar

    AMETEK Drexelbrook

The Drexelbrook Impulse is a two wire guided wave radar that employs field proven TDR level (Time Domain Reflectometry) technology to provide accurate measurement of Total Level, Distance or Volumetric outputs on all liquids and slurries. The Impulse is designed to tame even the most difficult level measurement applications and will continue to provide reliable and accurate measurements despite disturbances such as agitated, or irregular surfaces, foam or coating of the probe. It is unaffected by changes in density and dielectric properties, dusts, vapor, and turbulence. The Impulse simply keeps on measuring under conditions where other water level sensors quit.

  • Thermal Fire Sensor for Rolling Stock

    RSX-F - FLIR Systems, Inc.

The FLIR RSX-F is an intelligent sensor that provides advanced, non-contact fire detection on passenger and cargo trains. Combining a Lepton™ thermal imager, HD camera, and advanced on-board analytics, FLIR RSX-F can detect fires more quickly than conventional sensors, while also performing with lower false alarm rates. FLIR RSX-F not only detects and recognizes a rapid rise in temperature, but also the size of a fire and the movement of hotspots. And because it can filter out unwanted temperature events—such as the lighting of a cigarette—FLIR RSX-F also reduces the rate of false alarms.

  • Wireless Load and Force Measurement
