    For precision temperature sensing, nothing beats a Platinum RTD. Resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) are temperature sensors that contain a resistor that changes resistance value as its temperature changes, basically a kind of thermistor. In this sensor, the resistor is actually a small strip of Platinum with a resistance of 100 ohms at 0C, thus the name PT100. Compared to most NTC/PTC thermistors, the PT type of RTD is much most stable and precise (but also more expensive) PT100's have been used for many years to measure temperature in laboratory and industrial processes, and have developed a reputation for accuracy (better than thermocouples), repeatability, and stability.

    The thermopile leads can be arranged in different manners; for most commercial sensors of today, typically, horizontal or “in-the-plane” architecture is used. The reason for this is strictly process related. Microelectronic processes have historically been developed to make lateral structures on silicon wafers. However, this is not always the best sensor solution since the hot and the cold junctions are placed next to each other on the same surface. To use this as a infrared sensor an aperture must be integrated with the thermopile so that the heat radiation strikes only a limited area, i.e. the hot junction of the sensor. In other words, the full surface of horizontally configured thermopilescan’t be used, neither can true “contact mode” be utilized.

    Our SWIR or Short-Wave Infrared imaging covers the wavelength range from 900nm to 1700nm. A large number of applications that are difficult or impossible to perform using visible light are made possible, with great results, using short-wave infrared (SWIR) imaging thus enabling the user to "See Beyond the Visible". SWIR is similar to visible light in that photons are reflected or absorbed by an object, providing the strong contrast needed for higher resolution imaging– unlike thermal images, that rely on radiated photons.     Tactical Video Data Link (TVDL) is a video and data receiver/transmitter system specially designed for attack helicopters. This compact and lightweight system, weighing less than 4 kg, enables real-time, high-quality video imagery and data captured by UAV payloads or ground-based sensors to be displayed directly to the aircrew. This saves the need for lengthy radio dialogue by creating a common visual language amongst all forces in the battlespace and dramatically shortening the sensor-to-shooter loop. As a true video relay, the system can simultaneously transmit video and data as well as deliver imagery captured by onboard payloads to tactical forces for enhanced coordination and battle management.

    CyclicVoltammetry and Galvanostatic Charging are tests used throughout the industrial and scientific communities to study chemical reactions and behavior of electronic structures.  They are extremely helpful in the monitoring of nano based dielectrics, used in super /ultra capacitors or self-assembled monolayers (SAMs). The Cyclic Voltammetry test applies a ramping voltage to a device and measures the resulting current.  In acapacitor-like structure the current reveals loss in the dielectric as well as degradation over time.  CyclicVoltammetry is used to characterize the performance of supercapacitors and ultracapacitors formed using various nano-technologies.  It is also useful in the studies of self-assembled monolayers used for sensors.
