Based on the RS-485 multi-drop network system, each module has a unique address ID, whereby simple ASCII command & response protocols through the standard RS-485 interface can control all the NuDAM modules in the RS-485 network.     Pressure: Measures gas or liquid pressure. Pressure is an expression of the force required to stop a fluid from expanding. The transducer generates a signal from the pressure imposed upon it. Torque: Measures the torque (or twisting motion) on a static or rotating system. The static torque element has little movement and therefore more economic to manufacture and purchase. Rotary or dynamic torque is more complicated as the signal needs to be transferred using slip rings, wireless telemetry or rotary transformers/inductance technology so that the strain gauged shaft can continuously rotate. Displacement: Measures distance. The displacement transducers that PCM offer are slightly different to standard units. They have a strain gauge/wheatstone bridge. The benefit here is that if the customer has existing electronics that uses strain gauge/load cell technology, they can use them with these sensors.

All data loggers have a built-in temperature sensor plus single or multiple external channels where different sensors can be attached for remote monitoring of a variety of parameters. The DeltaTrak Data Loggers interface with a PC and have an internal memory for up to 32,000 readings. Each data point is automatically time and date stamped as it is recorded. Sampling intervals are set by the operator via a user-friendly Windows program on the PC. Recorded data is downloaded and graphed or exported in ASCII format to a spreadsheet for numerical print outs.

    As the latest addition to a growing product line, Mountain RF Sensors (MtRF) is announcing the MtRF-5610 GPS Disciplined 10 MHz Frequency Reference. With eight outputs, the MtRF-5610 eliminates the need for a separate frequency source and RF distribution unit (or multi-coupler). Along with the 10 MHz outputs, time information is also available via a serial output. The serial output support a 1 PPS mode and NMEA-0183. In the event of loss of GPS signal, the unit will continue to operate as a high-accuracy OCXO until the GPS signal is restored. The 1 PPS signal is accurate to ±35 ns to UTC RMS. The 10 MHz output has a noise floor of -155 dBc. Holdover stability is < ±10us over 24 hours. The MtRF-5610 is designed for an operational temperature range of -20˚C to +60˚C. The MtRF-5610 is available in a 8.66" x 6.50" x 2.03" module or a 1U, 19 inch rackmount enclosure and operates from 90–250 VAC line power.

    Columbia's SI-701 Series of Inclinometers are electronic tilt sensors based on Force Balance Accelerometer technology. They produce high level low impedance output proportional to the sine of the tilt angle. Model SI-701B is a low cost general purpose sensor that can be up-graded with the addition of the Columbia "HP" torquer system (SI-701BI) for greater accuracy and ruggedness. A bi-axial version of both units (SI-702B) is also available. The Model SI-701BI is designed with an output circuit made for 4-20mA data transmission systems for industrial applications. The model SI-701FND is a fluid dampened premium performance inclinometer designed to produce accurate tilt data in extreme shock and vibration environments. The latest addition in the line is Model SI-701WPBI, a waterproof (to 150 feet) inclinometer which operates from a +15 volt supply with 4-20mA output. A single power supply powers both the sensor and the 4-20mA line driver.
