    The Resistance Decade Box is ideal for testing automotive sensors and circuits; just insert the Decade Box in place of the sensor and dial in the resistance value that you would like to apply to the circuit. Once the resistance is adjusted properly; check the voltage of the circuit with a DVOM, scope, or scan tool. When checking sensors such as variable reluctance sensors; insert the Decade Box across the two leads of the sensor and set the resistance for about 1000ohms. Now check the sensors output with a scope to see if the voltage amplitude is correct. The Resistance Decade Box is quick and easy to use in many different automotive applications and is a must have tool for the automotive electronic technician.

    The Fluxgate Magnetometer Model WFG-130 system employs an optional active failure recognition system to detect when any of the three fluxgate sensors stops performing properly. The failure system functions by applying a low-level magnetic signal to each fluxgate sensor and then detecting the presence of the signal in each of the fluxgate output channels. A failure output logic signal is provided to alert the user should any of the fluxgate sensors stop functioning. This feature is useful for applications such as magnet automobile guidance systems where correct operation of the sensors is critical.

The MLP-packaged sensors are mounted onto PCB boards with minimal dead space and are available in a variety of formats, formed of sensors of either 1mm, 3mm or 6mm.
