  • Low Capacity (in-lb) General Purpose Reaction Torque Sensor

TRT SERIES - Transducer Techniques, Inc

The TRT Series reaction torque sensors offer long term reliability due to non moving parts and state of the art bonded foil strain gages. Whenever possible, the best approach for precision torque measurements is via reaction torque sensing, eliminating high maintenanceand high cost of slip rings, bearings and brushes.

  • Pressure Sensor

    Futek Advanced Sensor Technology, Inc.

Pressure Sensors manufactured in US by FUTEK Advanced Sensor Technology (AST), one of a handful of companies producing high quality pressure sensors, using metal foil strain gauge technology. Metal foil Strain-gauge technology is one of the most common types of pressure sensors in the market and is also commonly known as pressure transducers.

  • Bi-Axial or Axial Averaging Extensometers

Model 3560 - Jinan Testing Equipment IE Corporation

This extensometer is ideally suited for testing anisotropic materials such as advanced composites as well as for general purpose tests like determining Poisson’s ratio. The Model 3560BIA uses a design unique to Epsilon, where the knife edges remain parallel during the displacement. This approach greatly reduces crosstalk between axes and allows use on round or flat specimens with equal ease. These extensometers are very easy to mount. Integral springs hold the unit on the test sample. The parallel multiple flexure design makes these units very durable. The Model 3560AVG reads axial strain only as a single averaged output. It may also be supplied with two independent outputs, one measurement from each side of the specimen. This set-up is most commonly required when an indication of specimen bending is desired. The second version, the Model 3560BIA, includes both the averaged axial strain and the transverse strain. Again, this may also be configured as dual independent axial readings, which results in a three channel extensometer. The Model 3560 extensometers are strain gaged devices, making them compatible with any electronics designed for strain gaged transducers. Most often they are connected to a test machine controller. The signal conditioning electronics for the extensometer is typically included with the test machine controller or may often be added. In this case the extensometer is shipped with the proper connector and wiring to plug directly into the electronics. For systems lacking the required electronics, Epsilon can provide a variety of solutions, allowing the extensometer output to be connected to data acquisition boards, chart recorders or other equipment.

  • Board Stress Analysis

    Arcadia Test

Board stress analysis is an increasingly critical part of the test fixture build process today. Probe densities under BGA devices put tremendous pressure onto the solder joints of these devices. If the fixture is not designed properly, immediate damage can occur to the BGA’s, or even more devastating, future damage, which creates field failures. We can provide strain testing before shipping your fixture to insure that there are not excessive forces placed on your BGA parts. With the use of National Instruments Strain equipment, and tri-directional rosettes, we cycle test the board/fixture and measure and record the amount of strain from each corner of each BGA. Any over limit conditions are corrected before shipment. This service insures that your products will not be damaged at ICT, and help to reduce field failures from damaged components, compromised solder joints, or lifted pads.

  • Axial Clip-On Extensionmeters for Cable

    Instron

Rugged design extensometer for axial tensile testing of stranded wire requiring a long gage length device and the ability to measure axial elongation accurately on a specimen that twists when pulled. This design allows long measuring ranges, yet retains compatibility with electronics for strain gaged transducers. Meets existing ASTM class B-2 and ISO 9513, class 0,5 requirements for accuracyDuring operation, the upper half of the extensometer pulls out of the main body. Tapered measuring beams activate strain gaged flexures within the unit. The units have hardened tool steel knife edges that are easily replaced. Quick attach kit (included) allows easy one hand mounting on specimen. Removal of the extensometer from the specimen prior to fracture, to avoid damage to the instrument, is strongly recommended.Type of Loading: static tension Specimen Material: alloy steel Specimen Types: stranded cable
