    The LSY, MSY and NSY Series is The VON Corporation’s fully automated, microprocessor controlled test lab in a box. Units allow testing of Gloves, Sleeves, Blankets, Line Hose, Hoods and even Line Jumpers. All standard rubber goods can be tested, even class IV. All machine adjustments are controlled via a menu operated microprocessor control system. With a single selection the test voltage, current limit, depth, water fill level, test time, blower speed and exhaust fan speed are set. In the case of gloves, the operator is required to merely load gloves in the special clothespins, lower the test electrode into the glove and press the start button. Automated water fillers will fill the glove in less than 30 seconds. Tests are timed and an audible alarm sounds failures or test complete, with bright flashing colored lights signaling which position failed, or test complete. Other types of rubber goods are tested just as easily and automatically.

    DVS Resolution’s key feature is the combined ability to precisely control and measure temperature and relative humidity while recording the highest resolution changes in mass. DVS Resolution uses a dry carrier gas typically nitrogen or compressed air for its operation. Digital mass flow controllers regulate flows of dry and saturated gases. Relative humidity is generated by precisely mixing dry and saturated gas flows in desired flow ratios which produce expected relative humidity. In a typical experiment a known concentration of water vapor is delivered over a sample placed inside the sample pan connected to the Surface Measurement Systems Ultrabalance™ measuring realtime mass changes caused by sorption or desorption of water molecules. Prior to sorption measurements, the sample can be in-situ preheated/dried at temperatures of up to 300oC.

    When the Power Take Off is engaged, the hydraulic pump circulates the hydraulic oil through the manual flow control valve allowing the end user to fine tune the hydraulic pressure to the internal brake system. The torque reaction is measured by a torque arm that is attached to the back input shaft of the internal load unit. The heat that is created in this process is dissipated and carried out of the internal top tank by an incoming water source. In order to keep the internal brake’s synthetic oil in normal operating condition, the water temperature must not exceed 140 Degree F. When the end user is finished applying load to the application they are testing, the end user simply backs off the fine tune valve on top and opens the bottom course valve to relieve all pressure to the brake.

Since only an ultrasonic wave is admitted into the pipe, the liquid suffers no pressure loss; thus the flow can be easily measure.Fitted with the standard sensor it can make a flow measurement for pipes with a diameter ranging from 50mm to 400mm. When equipped with the optional large sensor, it can be used for pipes with a diameter of 200mm to 6,000mm.Non Revenue water specialists use the Portaflow C to know the Minimum Night Flow in the District Meterd Area, before the leak survey and after the repair of the leakage.
