Selco USA, INC
SAMS-64’s are a key part of monitoring control and surveillance programs at national and international levels. SAMS-64 may be used to monitor vessels in the territorial waters of a country or a subdivision of a country, or in the Exclusive Economic Zones that extend 200 nautical miles (370.4 km) from the coasts of many countries. SAMS-64 systems are used to improve the management and sustainability of the marine environment, through ensuring proper fishing practices and the prevention of illegal fishing, and thus protect and enhance the livelihoods of fishermen. It’s a highly-effective marine alarm panel, which is cost-effective and has easy to use operator interface.

Fieldpiece Instruments, Inc
Portable dual port manometer accessory head for use with our modular multimeters (DMMs) and instruments. Measures gas pressure, static pressure and pressure differential. The ADMN2 includes a zero adjust and the Auto Power-Off (APO) function to conserve battery life. Disable APO for data logging. The ADMN2 measures pressure between -60inWC and 60inWC (inches of water column) and -150.0 to 150.0 mBar. The ADMN2 also measures P1 or P2 pressure readings and calculates the difference between P1 and P2. Take static pressure measurements using the resolution mode of 0.01inWC or 0.01mBar.

EW-08436-00 - Cole-Parmer Instrument
Probes are accurate to ±0.1degC from 0 to 70degC. For tolerances outside of this range please see the introduction section on page 1081. All probes include certificate indicating traceability to NIST standards. Electrically isolated probes come with a nondetachable 10-ft lead with phone plug (except as noted). Water-resistant junctions between probe and lead should not be immersed; detachable leads are not water resistant. Note: Time constant is estimate time required to reach 63.2% of a new reading. To determine how long it will take to reach 99% of a new reading multiply the time constant by five.

Almost all particulate or macroscopic materials in contact with a liquid acquire an electronic charge on their surfaces. Zeta potential is an important and useful indicator of this charge which can be used to predict and control the stability of colloidal suspensions or emulsions, for example. The greater the zeta potential the more likely the suspension is to be stable because the charged particles repel one another and thus overcome the natural tendency to aggregate. The measurement of zeta potential is often the key to understanding dispersion and aggregation processes in applications as diverse as water purification, ceramic slip casting and the formulation of paints, inks and cosmetic

MRC ltd.
The role of Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) is to measure the amount of oxygen needed to remove organic waste from the water of bacteria.Important to know, the larger the Biochemical Oxygen Demand, the more rapidly oxygen is depleted in the stream. This means there will be less oxygen in the water.biological oxygen demand is essential By providing information to assess the effect discharged wastewater will have on the receiving environment. The BOD value is commonly expressed in milligrams of oxygen consumed per liter of sample during 5 days of incubation at 20°C.The goal is maintaining the aquatic life and aesthetic quality of streams and lakes.

NUL-224 - Neulog
This sensor allows for a stream of water to flow through its inlet and outlet pipes, thus revolving a rotation wheel within it. The wheel is not connected mechanically to anything else, but rather floats on a bearing for minimum friction and the enhancement of its minute accuracy. The measuring is done by monitoring changes in the sensor's surrounding magnetic field.

DVS Resolution - Surface Measurement Systems
DVS Resolution’s key feature is the combined ability to precisely control and measure temperature and relative humidity while recording the highest resolution changes in mass. DVS Resolution uses a dry carrier gas typically nitrogen or compressed air for its operation. Digital mass flow controllers regulate flows of dry and saturated gases. Relative humidity is generated by precisely mixing dry and saturated gas flows in desired flow ratios which produce expected relative humidity. In a typical experiment a known concentration of water vapor is delivered over a sample placed inside the sample pan connected to the Surface Measurement Systems Ultrabalance™ measuring realtime mass changes caused by sorption or desorption of water molecules. Prior to sorption measurements, the sample can be in-situ preheated/dried at temperatures of up to 300oC.
