The Portable USB Temperature and Humidity Probe combines high accuracy temperature and humidity sensors into a rugged stainless steel probe with built-in USB interface. The probe can be used with Windows based PC’s or Android devices that support On-The-Go communications. To use with an Android device simply download the free App from Google Play, plug the probe into your device with the supplied interface cables and start the application. The probe receives its power from the host USB device. Real time data is displayed and can be stored for review on the PC using a spread sheet or review data graphically using our free Track-It™ data logger software. Available in 300mm or 450mm (12” or 18”) lengths. The probe comes standard with a free flow Delrin cap. Flow indicator with rotor features a self-cleaning mechanism to ensure full visibility of the rotor at all times. Typical sight flow indicators suffer from poor indicator visibility through normal use from build-up that impedes observation of the rotor through the viewing window. Typically, for a sight flow indicator to be cleaned, it must be removed from the pipeline, cleaned and then replaced at some specified time, such as during plant shutdown. Unfortunately, dirt build-up does not typically schedule itself to correspond with planned shutdowns. Enter the KOBOLD DAA Series flow indicator. Simply twist the sight glass and the integral wipers clean the flow indicator's viewing area to allow unobstructed observation of the rotor. The offending contaminants are then simply washed away by the media flow. This process may be repeated as often as desired with no fuss and no downtime. The DAA is available with brass or stainless steel fittings with " to 1" NPT female threads. The DAA is also available without a rotor for observation of fluid condition.

Operationally, the sensor passes a white light beam through the stream to be monitored, where light absorbance is measured at two distinct wavelengths. The measuring wavelength is set to focus on or near the peak absorbance point of the “yellowness” curve, while the secondary wavelength is chosen to compensate for any influence due to light scattering (window fouling, particulate, immiscible fluids, gas bubbles, etc.). Together, the sensor yields a repeatable and reliable true color number without any sample conditioning.
