AOSense
AOSense has developed a compact Integrated Laser Controller (ILC) that can be paired with our External Cavity Diode Lasers (ECDLs) to control laser current, piezo transducer (PZT), and temperature. The ultra-low noise electronics are fully digitally controlled. The ILC dimensions are only 5″x2.9″x0.95″. We provide software with an easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) that can control multiple lasers from a single window. If preferred, commands may be sent over a USB virtual COM port. The software screenshot below (click the image to enlarge) shows the interface including a plot of the temperature (green line) as it settles to a commanded value.

The sensor is a mono-crystalline silicon solar cell having an area of2x2cm(4cm).The back of the solar cell is attached to the device in such a way that a good heat transfer to the device housing is guaranteed. Below the solar cell a Pt100 RTD temperature sensor is mounted to allow monitoring of device temperature. The device is not shunted allowing the whole IV-curve to be measured. The solar cell is protected by a high quality fused silica window, assuring spectral sensitivity over a 320 -1100 nm range.

The E3P2G series, three-phase solid state relay is the 2nd generation of the discontinued E3P series. The new design incorporates a high efficiency back-to-back thyristor with direct copper bonding for a longer lifetime expectancy. Over-Voltage protection is provided internally with TVS diodes for the input and output. Additionally our -16 model is designed with an RC snubber and VDR for greater protection to the output to handle all types of loads. The industrial SSR utilizes optical isolation to protect the control from load transients for each phase and has tight zero-cross window for low EMI. A control status LED are standard on all models.

The XR-100CR is a new high performance x-ray detector, preamplifier, and cooler system using a thermoelectrically cooled Si-PIN photodiode as an xray detector. Also mounted on the 2-stage cooler are the input FET and a novel feedback circuit. These components are kept at approximately -55 °C, and are monitored by an internal temperature sensor. The hermetic TO-8 package of the detector has a light tight, vacuum tight thin Beryllium window to enable soft xray detection. The XR-100T-CdTe represents a breakthrough in xray detector technology by providing “off-the-shelf” performance previously available only from expensive cryogenically cooled systems. The XR-100-CdTe is also suited for measuring gamma rays.
