  • Low Noise Converter for Radio Amateurs

    Kuhne electronic GmbH

The concept of software defined radios (SDR's) is becoming increasing popular in both commercial, military and Amateur Radio circles. In their basic form, the use simple front end filtering followed by a Quadrature Sampling Detector (QSD) with the post detection processing done in software using the sound card found in PC's. Several popular kits have been developed to introduce Amateurs to the concept.

  • Bimorph Type Vibrators

    Fuji Ceramics Corporation

Bimorph type vibrator has bonded the two piezoceramic elements. If one element is extends in the longitudinal direction, the other elements are configured to compressed. This will be the flexural vibrators. Conversely, when apply flexural force outputs an electric field corresponding to the force. Many, it has a natural frequency of the auditory area. For this reason, it is used as a highly sensitive sound sensors or bending actuator of ON-OFF drives,.

  • Analyzer

    ONYX Apps

The Analyzer is a combination of a sound pressure level (SPL) meter and a full range multiple bands frequency analyzer. It is mainly designed for audio professionals who need to evaluate different working environments (e.g. studios, live stages)... that’s why it’s perfect for anyone who’s in need of acoustical analysis!! It is easy to use and comes with amazing features only known from professional acoustic tools.

  • Infrasonic Array

    Geosonic - BioAge s.r.l.

An Infrasonic Array works like a sonic antenna, it is able to detect the magnitude and the source of sound waves. The Geosonic array is able to detect also pressure waves that the human ears can’t hear. A typical pressure wave is that generated by an explosion or by any physical phenomena (natural or human created) that generates an air pressure wave, which means that the Geosonic array can be used to detect a lot of phenomena, like:

  • Modular High-Quality Audio Conversion System

DREAM ADA-128 - Prism Sound Ltd.

The Dream ADA-128 redefines flexibility, capacity, and performance standards in professional audio conversion.  In creating it, we ripped up the rule book and started again, using all our 30+ years of ADC and DAC development experience.  Building on the legacy of the Prism Sound Dream ADA-8XR, the resulting Dream ADA-128 architecture is so capable that it is set to meet the needs of the most demanding facilities for years to come.

  • Screw Tightening Counter

ECT Series (02H/03/04) - Sugisaki Meter Co., Ltd.

Pokayoke for screw tightening work. Easy connection! Compatible with various electric screwdrivers equipped with a screw tightening completion signal. Manages the number of screws to be tightened to prevent operator carelessness. * Some electric screwdrivers and tools are not compatible. us for details. The number of screws can be confirmed by sound and light, and the timer function counts only normal screw tightening operations, so you can work more accurately and efficiently.

  • Building Acoustics

    PCB Piezotronics, Inc.

Measurements to evaluate and improve Building Acoustics are typically made to analyze and design noise control from room to room, or from outside to inside.   Noise sources such as music systems, televisions, appliances, traffic, aircraft, and manufacturing are all around us.  The field of Building Acoustics evaluates and designs the materials and methods to insulate and isolate us all from these sound sources when we are at work, rest, or enjoying leisure time.  The resulting data is useful for evaluating compliance with building codes and for proposing countermeasures for areas of concern.  These measurements often involve creating and measuring an artificial sound source, and then measuring the resulting noise in receiver locations.

  • Vector/Magnitude Gaussmeter

    VGM - Alpha Lab, Inc.

The Vector Gaussmeter displays the true magnitude of the field at any location as well as the X, Y, Z components of up to 800 gauss. Also separately displays peak values of X, Y, Z, and magnitude. There is a sound alarm that determines the locations where the field magnitude exceeds user-set threshold. Because magnitude is measured, the orientation of the sensor (E-W, N-S, and up-down) is not important; this is unlike a 1-axis gaussmeter. With the VGM the user can set the alarm to 15 gauss (for example) and it will sound (simultaneous with a red light) whenever the field exceeds 15 gauss for at least 5 milliseconds. Using the meter this way, it is easy to make a map of the 15 gauss line (or for whatever threshold is set) around a strong magnet. When using the alarm, of a steel part can be rapidly scanned to show if any areas exceed the set threshold. Then the "peak hold" function can be interrogated, showing the peak values of X, Y, Z (including polarity) and magnitude that occurred during the scan. Peak hold also has a 5 millisecond response time.
