Battery charger BAC series is a portable and universal battery charging solution. It is primarily intended for charging Lead-Acid, Ni-Cd and Li-ion batteries from 1 V DC to 300V DC level. The battery capacity test is performed to determine the health of a battery. DV Power’s battery load unit BLU-A is a portable, powerful, and lightweight solution for battery capacity measurement. It is applicable to any battery string such as lead-acid, Li-Ion, Ni-Cd, etc., with up to 500 V battery voltage. As a special feature, BLU100L model enables the capacity testing of a single Li-Ion cell.The capacity test is performed in an accurate and user-friendly way. Also, it is in accordance with battery testing standards: IEEE 450-2010, IEEE 1188-2005, IEEE 1106-2015, IEC 60896-11/22, and other relevant standards.Battery load unit BLU-A enables setting discharge currents up to 240 A, with a resolution 0,1 A. The RMO-A is a portable micro-ohmmeter designed for contact resistance measurements of switchgear during manufacturing, commissioning and maintenance stages. This micro-ohmmeter is widely used by medium and high-voltage circuit breakers manufacturers. It accurately measures not only in factory environments but also in high-induction fields and substationsThe RMO-A series contains 6 models, rated from 100 A (RMO100A) to 600 A (RMO600A). The RMO500A (formerly CPM500) is our best seller, with 500 A ripple-free current and weighs only 8 kg.Although placed in a very portable and lightweight metal housing, RMO-A micro-ohmmeters have very high output power capabilities. They can generate 600 A test current continuously for up to 20 s. You can test with current up to 100 A without rest time. High output voltage enables a wider measurement range at the highest test currents, as well as the use of thinner/longer test cables. For testing with 100 A, 20 m test leads can be provided with only 16 mm2 cross-section.RMO-A micro-ohmmeter generates a true DC ripple-free (less than 1 %) current with automatically regulated test ramps. During a test, the RMO-A ramps up with increasing current before measuring and decreasing current after the measurement. This significantly decreases magnetic transients and ensures great accuracy.An additional option is a built-in High Precision module suitable for measurement of very low resistances, ranges from 1 to 30 µΩ, with 0,01 µΩ resolution.These instruments can store up to 500 measurements in internal memory. Accordingly, our instruments store measured values and compare them to a manufacturer’s limits. Also, a fingerprint obtained in this way can be used at a later stage as a reference during subsequent measurements. In order to obtain an accurate comparison, the tests need to be performed using identical test parameters. Consequently, any deviation and change in the test results may indicate the circuit breaker condition deterioration. DV Power battery voltage supervisor – BVS, is an accurate battery voltage monitoring system that monitors the state of health of battery systems. It records important battery parameters such as battery voltage, inter-cell connection voltage, and ambient temperature. Because of that, it can be a support tool for capacity testing.The BVS voltage supervisor is an integrated system consisting of:BVS Control Unit (BVS-CU)Cell Voltage Modules (CVM)String Voltage Module (SVM) (optional)String Current Module (SCM) (optional)It is an ideal testing tool for maintenance, troubleshooting and performance tests on individual stationary batteries and battery packs in critical backup energy solutions.BVS-CU provides ambient temperature measurements on multiple locations (4 temperature channels). Overall string voltage and string current monitoring can be achieved by using an optional string voltage module (SVM) and string current module (SCM).There are two types of DV Power battery voltage supervisors:BVS – One cell voltage module measures 1 cellBVS-4 – One cell voltage module measures 4 cellsCVM modules detect cells that fail a discharge test based on monitored voltage values. As a result of that, these cells can be safely removed from the battery string.Data acquisition and analysis of data collected from the modules are available in the DV-B Win application software suite. After a DC current test, such as winding resistance measurement, the magnetic core of a power or instrument transformer may be magnetized (remnant magnetism). It can cause various problems such as wrong diagnostics, inaccurate measurements on a transformer, inrush current at the start-up of a power transformer, or incorrect operation of protective relays due to magnetized CT cores. The best way to eliminate this source of potential problems is to use demagnetizer on the power or instrument transformer.The DEM60C is a fully automatic test instrument which performs three-phase transformer demagnetization. Transformer magnetic core demagnetization requires the application of AC current with magnitude decreasing to zero. DEM60C provides this AC current by internally changing the polarity of a controlled DC current. During the demagnetization process, the instrument supplies the current at decreasing magnitude for each step, following a proprietary algorithm. It can demagnetize single-phase and three-phase power transformers.The instrument can be connected to all three phases of a power transformer to be demagnetized, on either the primary or the secondary side. If a user selects specific vector diagrams for different types of transformers, DEM60C will run a specific demagnetization procedure for each transformer type (i.e., single phase, delta, wye/star, zig-zag.) without switching the test leads.DEM60C enables safe and efficient power transformer demagnetization. The instrument automatically regulates the injection of current and discharging energy from the inductance. During and after the operation, an intrinsically safe discharge circuit with an indicator rapidly dissipates the stored magnetic energy. The discharging circuit is independent of the power supply, which improves its reliability in case of loss of power.Test currents of up to 60 A DC enable efficient demagnetization of even the largest power transformers. Using a DV Win software, it is possible to control DEM60C externally.
