JTAG Debug Probe for Cortex-M
J-Trace PRO
SEGGER Microcontroller GmbH & Co. KG
J-Trace PRO for Cortex-M is setting a new standard for trace probes. It enables continuous streaming trace via its Gigabit Ethernet interface, lifting the limitations by internal buffers and slow data transmission.J-Trace PRO can capture omplete traces over long periods - thereby enabling the recording of infrequent, hard-to-reproduce bugs. This is particularly helpful when the program flow 'runs off the rails' and stops in a fault state. It also supports extended trace features, such as code coverage (so engineers have visibility of which parts of the application code have been executed) and execution profiling (providing visibility as to which instructions have been executed and how often - so hotspots can be addressed and optimization opportunities identified).

Visual Analysis of any Embedded System
SystemView
SEGGER Microcontroller GmbH & Co. KG
SEGGER is announcing the release of SystemView, a free tool enabling the visual analysis of any embedded system. SystemView gives complete insight into the behavior of a program, with minimal side effects on the observed embedded system. SystemView offers cycle accurate tracing of interrupts and task start stop as well as task activation and API calls when an RTOS is used. It visualizes and analyzes CPU load by task and interrupts and scheduler. Test setups with LED and oscilloscope are a thing of the past.

Evaluation Board
emPower
SEGGER Microcontroller GmbH & Co. KG
The emPower eval board provides a comprehensive set of SEGGER's middleware products, accelerating the start of any embedded project. SEGGER's embOS real-time operating system is at the heart of the evaluation. Furthermore, evaluation versions of the file system emFile, graphics library emWin, emUSB Host & Device, and TCP/IP stack embOS/IP (including web server demo) enable full use of the available emPower peripherals. emPower also features a J-Link OB, an on-board version of SEGGER's market-leading debug probe J-Link, which includes drag & drop programming and COM-Port support. There are three expansion interfaces to easily connect additional modules. Each connector provides I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO/timer, analog input and power. A display adapter connector enables the connection of small TFT displays. The emPower board is powered by USB only. Current consumption drawn strongly depends on the application and connected peripherals. Idle consumption is approx. 85 mA.
