Precision Acoustics LTD
At Precision Acoustics, we manufacture normal incidence shear wave probes at 1 MHz, which can be coupled directly to an object through a shear wave coupling gel.
-
Precision Acoustics LTD
Precision Acoustics’ manufactures high-quality co-planar membrane hydrophones which have been developed to satisfy the stringent requirements of MHz ultrasound measurements. The differential membrane hydrophone model is suited to the most demanding, wide bandwidth measurements situations but requires water with very low conductivity.
-
Precision Acoustics LTD
The best instrument available to measure close to the face of the ultrasound transducer, make CW measurements or to measure the acoustic pressure and associated thermal effects of a high-intensity field.
-
Precision Acoustics LTD
Our high-performance needle hydrophone system consists of a range of interchangeable PVdF needle hydrophone probes, a submersible wide-band amplifier and a DC coupler.
-
Precision Acoustics LTD
A range of hydrophones for measuring pressure in ultrasound fields, covering acoustics parameters to meet the latest regulatory requirements needed for IEC62127-1, NEMA UD2 or FDA 510(k) submission.
-
Precision Acoustics LTD
PVdF transducers have a wide bandwidth, short impulse response and can be designed to your specific requirement.

Precision Acoustics LTD
Rexolite or perspex wedges incorporate a pyramidal scattering surface with an impedance matched acoustic absorber to minimise internal reflections within the wedge.
-
Precision Acoustics LTD
Our ultrasound test tank systems are custom built to suit your requirements and additional features can be included.
-
Precision Acoustics LTD
In addition to custom designs, we also have a carefully selected offering of transducers which can be ordered on a short lead-time.

Precision Acoustics LTD
Optional enhancement to the basic hydrophone measurement system to provide further amplification of the hydrophone signal.
-
Precision Acoustics LTD
With a range of standard casings, we produce customised PVdF or ceramic transducers tailored to your specific needs. We have developed custom transducers for a wide range of applications and environments from underwater to use in CT & MRI systems, covering frequency range from 500KHz to 50MHz and above.

Cavitation is often induced by an external acoustic field which typically has very high acoustic amplitudes but the acoustic emissions from these cavitation events are significantly smaller. The small acoustic emissions are characterised by well defined spectral peaks at integer harmonics and sub-harmonics relative to the fundamental bubble frequency.
