Ethernet To Fiber Optic Converters (Multi-Drop)
Our advanced, rugged, industrial-grade, Fast and Gigabit Ethernet to multi-drop fiber optic converters are designed to cover large areas. These converters support up to 255 fiber nodes, and each fiber node can extend the Fast and Gigabit Ethernet data up to 100 miles or 160 km. Depending on the site situation, these multi-drop fiber optic converters can be configured as a daisy-chain or a self-healing redundant ring fiber network. When configured as a ring fiber network, the built-in self-healing feature allows the Ethernet data to be transmitted clockwise or counterclockwise; therefore, failure of any individual converter will not affect other devices located on the same fiber ring, making the entire Ethernet network more robust and reliable. These Fast and Gigabit Ethernet to multi-drop fiber optic converters have been designed for harsh industrial environments and withstand a wide temperature of -40°F to 185°F (-40°C to 85°C), and they come with the options multi-mode and single-mode, and ST, SC, FC, and SFP connectors.

Free Serial-TCP (More Than Just A Device Server)
In the past two decades, legacy serial communication protocols such as Modbus have merged rapidly with modern TCP/IP communication, yielding benefits including widely available infrastructures and greater distance, reliability, and speed. The Serial-TCP program (more than just a Device Server) bridges your existing Serial COM port and TCP/IP without the need for changing existing protocol. It works seamlessly and transparently, just like passive RS232 / RS485 / RS422 converters, repeaters, and hubs, while the difference is that one requires installation of cables and converters with limited distance; and the other simply makes use of the existing computers and networks with an unlimited transmission distance

1000BASE SFP Transceivers
CommFront offers a range of high-quality, high-performance SFP transceivers ranging from MM 850nm / 0.3 miles (550m) to SM 1550nm / 100 miles (160km). SFP (Small Form-Factor Pluggable) is a compact, hot-pluggable network interface module used for data communication and tele-communication applications. SFP equips with one or two fiber optic connectors (e.g. LC connectors) for connecting a fiber optic cable or sometimes an RJ45 connector for connecting a copper cable. Because of its compact size and flexibility, many Ethernet Switches come with SFP ports so individual ports can be equipped with any suitable type of transceiver as required.

Advanced Serial Protocol Analyzer
Most data networks are complicated, not just the hardware and network issues, but also the high-level protocols that devices use to communicate; and to make things even more complicated, many manufacturers have incorporated proprietary protocols for their devices. Integrating different devices and protocols within a data network is always the most challenging task for system integrators, firmware / software developers, and site engineers. From the simplest loopback test to complicated checksum calculation and sophisticated firmware and GUI software development, the 232Analyzer is designed to tackle all these challenges.
