Test Port Adapter Set, 3.5 Mm (Test Port) To Type-N

The Keysight 85130C test port adapter is designed to protect the test set port when it would be directly connected to the device under test. These adapters have a special rugged female connector designed for connecting to the network analyzer test port. This special connector will not mate with a standard male connector, but converts the rugged test set port to a connection that can be mated with the device under test. The set contains a 3.5 mm to type-N male adapter and a 3.5 mm to type-N female adapter. The frequency range for these adapters is dc to 18 GHz with a return loss of 28 dB or better.

SMD Array Type LCR Test Fixture

The 16034H is designed for impedance evaluations of array-type SMD.The minimum SMD size that this fixture is adapted to evaluate is 1.6(L)x0.8(W)[mm]. Since the tip of the measurement electrodes are very thin and the device holder is extremely flat, the device can be shifted and the measurement electrodes can contact each of the elements of the array-type component.

The Keysight 16197A supports various SMD sizes, as small as 1005 (mm)/0402 (inch) and as large as 3225 (mm)/1210 (inch). Accommodation of the 0603 (mm)/0201 (inch) size is available with option 001.

Compatible with the Keysight 85071E-300 materials measurement software, the 85072A and can be purchased separately or as part of a complete turn-key solution.

Dielectric Material Test Fixture
16453A
The 16453A is designed for accurate dielectric constant and loss tangent measurements on the E4991A/4291A/B. It employs the parallel plate method, which sandwiches the material between two electrodes to form a capacitor. The E4991A/4291A/B measures the capacitance created from the fixure, and option 002 firmware calculates the relative complex permittivity as described in the 16451B. Adjustment to insure parallel electrodes is required when using the 16451B. This adjustment is not required with the 16453A because the fixure has a flexible electrode that adjusts automatically to the material surface.

The 16451B is used to evaluate the dielectric constant of solid dielectric materials accurately, and complies with ASTM D150. The 16451B employs the parallel plate method, which sandwiches the material between two electrodes to form a capacitor. An LCR meter or an impedance analyzer is then used to measure the capacitance created from the fixture.

Magnetic Material Test Fixture

The 16454A is designed for accurate permeability measurements of toroidal-shaped magnetic materials. Since the construction of this fixture creates one turn around the toroid (with no magnetic flux leakage), the need of winding a wire around the toroid is unnecessary. Complex permeability is calculated from the inductance with and without the toroid. When the E4991A/4291B with option 002 is used as the measurement instrument, direct readouts of complex permeability are possible. In addition, it is furnished with a small and a large fixture to adapt to a wide range of sizes.

The N4951B is an affordable and compact pattern generator remote head available in 4 to 17 Gb/s and 5 to 32 Gb/s configurations. Compatible with the N4960A Serial BERT controller, it is the perfect solution to test up to 32 Gb/s per channel for 100 Gigabit Ethernet applications and other high-data rate devices. The N4951B pattern generator supports PRBS or user patterns and operates up to 32 Gb/s in a single band with no gaps or missing data rates. The N1428A is designed to operate specifically with the B2985B / 87B electrometer / high resistance meter. It is provided with two component modules, which are used to hold SMD, lead, and various types of devices. Electrical noise effects are reduced by the employment of a shielded case. A built-in interlock circuit enables safe high-voltage measurements. The N1413A high resistance meter fixture adapter is also required to connect the N1428A to the B2985B / 87B.
