About Embedded Systems
Embedded systems are computer systems that perform a clearly defined range of tasks. In addition to the microprocessor system, they contain various components adapted to the tasks as required, eg for the user interface, communication, data acquisition and power electronics. They are often designed for years of error-free continuous operation.
