Universal Flash Storage
UFS
Universal Flash Storage (UFS) is a JEDEC standard for high performance mobile storage devices suitable for next generation data storage. The UFS is also adopted by MIPI as a data transfer standard designed for mobile systems. Most UFS applications require large storage capacity for data and boot code. Applications include mobile phones, tablets, DSC, PMP, MP3, and other applications requiring mass storage, boot storage, XiP or external cards. The UFS standard is a simple, but high-performance, serial interface that efficiently moves data between a host processor and mass storage devices. USF transfers follow the SCSI model, but with a subset of SCSI commands.The Arasan UFS IP family consists of Host controller IP, Device controller IP, and MPHY.

FMC for Data Communication Dual 1 Gigabit Ethernet FMC

The FMC431 is a dual 1 Gigabit Ethernet FPGA Mezzanine Card with two RJ45 connectors available on the front panel. Compliant with the VITA 57.1 standard the FMC431 offers a High Pin Count connector but is compatible with FPGA carrier cards with Low Pin Count connectors. The Ethernet interface (1000BASE-T) is either implemented using RGMII (Low Pin Count compatible) or SGMII (High Pin Count compatible). The FMC431 also offers the option to stack an additional FMC over it. Any of the 4DSP FMC that use LVDS and single ended signaling only can be mounted over the FMC431, thus offering users with the ability to build a complete data acquisition, waveform generation and communication solution while using a single FMC site on an FPGA carrier card. The FMC431 is an ideal solution to bring Ethernet connectivity to an FPGA based system and ensure reliable external communication.

Firmware
Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) are an ideal fit for data acquisition systems as they offer unparalleled real-time signal processing power. Moving functionality from the host PC to the on-board FPGAs helps offload the PCs central processing unit (CPU) and relaxes data transfer rate requirements. This capability is key in achieving the performance levels needed in many of today's leading-edge applications.All our data acquisition and generation modules host Xilinx FPGAs and are delivered with pre-installed general data acquisition firmware (for ADQ7 and ADQ14 we refer to this firmware as "FWDAQ"). In addition to the standard/default firmware, we also offer optional firmware development kits (available for all models) and application-specific firmware packages (available for ADQ7 and ADQ14 only). FEA and Strain Gauge Testing
Circuit Check began Strain Gauge Testing in 1999 when BGA/SMT technology started replacing PTH components, reducing strain levels was a reactive post fixture fabrication process. We quickly recognized that the “reactionary” process was neither efficient nor were we capable on knowing the lowest achievable strain levels. Our engineering team came up with visual tools utilized during design to easily identify areas of excessive probe force, though still not enough data was generated to identify the lowest possible strain. Finite Element Analysis software models the PCBA and test fixture and applies the pressures from test probes and board supports and indicates the micro strain level applied to the PCBA. Using the FEA software during our design process allows our engineers to modify fixture designs to attain the lowest possible micro strain before fabrication begins.

Network Sensor Interface for USB Pressure Transducers

The Validyne model SI314 is a network interface that connects our model P61 USB pressure Transducer to your smart phone or network web browser. The SI314 supports Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections and will display current pressure readings and transducer status on any web browser or via smart phone. The SI314 also displays the transducer temperature, date of calibration, model and serial numbers and these can be viewed wirelessly or by Ethernet connection. The SI314 makes your P61 accessible from anywhere in the world. Data logging of pressure data is configured via a web browser or smart phone and readings may be stored once per minute to once per hour. A thumb drive or memory card collects the data in comma separated file format(csv) for download to your computer. The data may also be accessed via the network. A graph of the data is also generated on request. A Twitter function allows pressure data to be tweeted from the SI314 at user-defined intervals. The transducer zero and span calibration adjustments are password protected and operated via browser buttons. No potentiometer adjustments are required to calibrate the P61 transducer.
