The MATX4010 module is a general purpose-switching matrix, consisting of 40 relays arranged in 5 rows by 8 columns. Each row/column consists of independent Force/Sense lines that are switched simultaneously. Each relay is capable of handling 10 Amps and can isolate up to 5 KV. Each relay on the matrix is independently controlled with an On/Off command via software.

LXI Scalable Matrix - 2Amp 10x20 Configurable Matrix Plugin Module

Matrices are created by populating the 65-200 scalable matrix chassis with plug-in modules that provide access to the X axis on 15-pin D-type connectors and the Y axis on 50-pin D-type connectors. The chassis is capable of supporting matrices with a Y axis size of 20 or 40 and X axis sizes up to 60 in increments of 10. Users can specify as many or as few plugin modules as they require and can field upgrade the chassis to extend the matrix size.

The Matrix Module for SwitchBlock is for use with the PXI Carrier Module for SwitchBlock and can operate as an individual relay card, can combine with other Matrix Modules for SwitchBlock in the same PXI Carrier Module for SwitchBlock, and can combine with other Matrix Modules for SwitchBlock in other PXI Carrier Modules for SwitchBlock in the same PXI chassis. Each Matrix Module for SwitchBlock comes in an A-type version, which serves as the first matrix building block and offers row and column access through the front connector, and a B-type version, which serves as an expansion module and only provides column access through the front connector. Typically, SwitchBlock systems contain one A-type module and numerous B-type modules.
